Ship to your home or straight to the installer
Shipping to your home lets you inspect the size and condition before anything is mounted, which is the safer option and the one we'd recommend for a first order. Shipping directly to an installer saves you handling four heavy boxes, but only works if the shop has agreed in advance to receive them — many will not accept unexpected freight.
- •Confirm the shop accepts customer-supplied tires before ordering
- •Ask for their per-tire mounting and balancing rate up front
- •Ask whether they charge extra for TPMS service or disposal of your old tires
